SKYPE SESSION WITH TAIPEI

Today (Friday, March 31) we had our second skype session with Taipei.
The call was great. This time it didn't cost us as much as the first time. We didn't have to prepare as much as the first time, but we had to memorize the answers to their questions. Taipei people have also been doing the hard work for this call, not like the other school.
We were able to answer most of the questions, although they didn't answer all the questions, it was not their fault, it was for the time.
I think this time we did the same thing in front of the camera (except some). Some talked a lot and others didn't speak. But it was still a success.
The connection was a little bad, and that's why we didn't understand what they said, but the best thing is that they had a PowerPoint of the things they were saying and so it was easier to understand.
We gave them Cacaolat the typical drink from here and we sang a song by Cargol treu banya, and they also sang us a song in Chinese, that we didn't understand much, but it was very funny, and I guess they didn't understand us much either.
But overall everything was excellent, we have greatly improved our English.
And we want to keep making more video calls.
 And having lots of fun, and that's what matters.

SKYPE SESSION

Last Thursday we had our first skype session with Medford international partners (Boston-US).
The call was a success and we learned a lot of things about their country, and we have improved speaking in English with them.
But we had to plan a lot for the questions and all that, and then practice them, but instead they haven't done the same thing as us, and that's why it cost us more.
We sang a song and we give them the typical food from here.
It was crazy and I had a lot of fun.
I would like to make more video calls like these and have more fun.

GLOBAL SCHOLARS

In the Global Scholars class we do a lot of fun things. It is a subject that serves to learn obvious English but also makes us communicate with everyone: make new friends, know their religions ...

The project consists of speaking in Skipe with people from other countries. We have a web page where we publish about different topics, for example, what they manufacture in Catalonia, and then they answer us and we to them. We also invented things for the better in school, which we published in the Blog.

The Blog is a page where we inform our inventions and new ideas that we have and many more things of the class.

I love this stuff because we don't have to write by hand, we use the laptop and it does not give us many homework. I am very interested in this lesson and have a lot of fun. I LOVE IT !!
